I thrifted these sheer socks/tights (whatever they're called) yesterday. I absolutely adore the bows and the lines running at the back.
The only problem is - they won't hold up! After a few minutes of walking, they start to slide down and I find myself having to tug them up again and again. Ugh. I'm considering sewing a couple of elastic bands at the top, although I don't know how that would work out. One solution that helps hold them up is to wear them over tights, but the tights have to be sheer/light so that the bows stay visible.
Speaking of latest thrift finds, I also got these cute cards: a pack of nursery rhyme characters, and vintage playing cards with mushrooms (?) on the back. What I'll do with them, I haven't figured out yet. They're just too cute and was only $1 altogether, so was hard to resist!

Those socks are amazing. I hope you find a way to keep them up because they are way too pretty not to wear. I love those cards too. I can't ever resist things that are very cheap but a bit useless. I often end up making collages out of those things.
The bow socks are really cute. I'm not sure about any advice though on how to keep them up. Hopefully one of your ideas works out beautifully!

Gosh, those are the most beautiful socks I have seen in a long time! Just darling. I'm sorry they don't hold up - I know how annoying that is... hmm. If they were longer you could wear them with braces. Though an elastic band might work.

Bows!!! :) I'm a bow freak! Love them! I know how annoying it is when they fall and you have to pull them up again and again. But anyways they're cute :). And those cards, I remember I use to have them. I love them... *sniff* miss my childhood jejeje :)

Oh my gosh, those socks are adorable! Bummer that they won't stay up. I think they would look super cute over white tights or you could try those sock suspender things that old men wear to hold their socks up, hehe, maybe add little bows to them too!
