the happy 6

I've been tagged by Babalisme to list 6 things that make me happy. I've done similar tags before, but I like how it challenges me to think of new joyful things every time. Not so easy after all (maybe it's just me)! But fun, nonetheless, and it acts as a lovely reminder of things worth being thankful for.

Anyway, here's the 6 things I came up with:
1. Knowing that I'm going home to Indonesia next month!
Have booked my flight tickets, and will be there in time for the Eid celebrations (practically *THE* holiday of the year for us, and I can't even remember the last time I was home for this). So excited, and looking forward to seeing family and best friends again!
2. Waking up extra early to watch the tennis*
*does not apply when my favourites lose.
3. Sending mail, which is just as fun as receiving!
4. Being sent a vintage magazine that has the same name as me! (thank you Jennifer!)
5. Gilmore Girls marathon
Can anyone guess which episode that picture is from?!
6. You, my dear blog readers. You have no idea how much your wonderful comments mean to me. Seriously: thank you!!

I tag anyone who wants to play along!

OK, I will stop with the excessive exclamation marks now.

I always love your list of happy things! Aw, how exciting that you planned a trip home! I can't relate to the feeling, but it must be wonderful. An Anna magazine -- too cute! To answer your Gilmore Girls question, Season 1 Episode 3 "Kill Me Now" ;) And in response to your comment, subtitles DO come in handy for Gilmore Girls. Sometimes it's too hard to keep up without them ;)

Aaah, I love how you formatted this tag! It's refreshing.

I love Gilmore Girls, too!! That show makes me ridiculously happy. And I don't remember the name of the episode the photo is from, but it's an early one where Rory and Richard hang out and he realizes that he's got a bright little granddaughter in his life. Awww..

I love GG. I always watch it when I'm sad or stressed. For some reason it seems to have healing powers. I recently started watching it again from season 1. I've lost count of the number of times I've watched the entire series.

I love your list! Vintage mags and GG are amazing stuff - only it's sad because I can't easily find it here. By the way, I think we should make a meet-up plan when you get home next month! That will be exciting :)

I know that GG episode! Not the title, but it's when Rory goes golfing with Richard and she actually has fun! :D

I'm so embarrassed to say I have yet to watch an episode of Gilmore Girls. From what I hear it's such a great coming of age show, and I'm such a sucker for those!
