I love these 1920s-inspired photos by Julia Galdo. Not only for the gorgeous vintage theme and outfits, but there's a subtle sense of sadness and longing that I think is captured quite beautifully. source
Gosh! These are so lovely - the clothes and the beautiful photos!! Well spotted!! P.S. It takes me anywhere from a week to a day to draw an illo! I am a trotally drawing machine so that's no problem for me!!
i love so much these photos.there's something that makes me wanna jump in there.the feminine air, the chic outfits with lovely colours and patterns and amazing tights in the last photo, the autumn-ly feeling about them....so beautiful:)thanks for sharing:)
I thikn 20s are slowly becoming my fave decade! It's very tight with 50s though... it used to be 80s but then it got too commercial and all the 12-15years olds are wearing it so wrongly now that my heart just couldnt take it. But I dont believe 20s offer as much opportunities to be trashed, becasue, let's face it- 80s were asking for it to be trashed werent they ? :) anyhow, my point- good post! :)
I spend my entire life to get my hair curled up like that. I even once brought a picture of the hairstyle to a hairdresser only to came up look like Shirley Temple in steroids.
These images are amazing...I am in love love love! I showed my daugher the first dress and she wants one just like that for her grad in June...she is looking for a vintage dress or vintage inspired dress! Thank you so much for these lovely images tonight!
The Roarin' 20's was always my favorite historical era... where everyone had the guts to break all the rules and it was okay. The ladies of this time had such a beautiful balance of elegance and boldness, exactly like how these pictures captured. Thanks for sharing!
Love this decade!!! Gorgeous photography & art direction... Anyway, come to think...we are closer to each other now that I'm in Singapore! It's so hot & humid... Hope you'd have a great trip to Jakarta dear~

Oh that's wonderful! My favorite is the last one of the women standing on the stairs. I just love the dress to the far left.
