discover the world with me

Check out these adorable e-postcard illustrations from A la Carte Maps. I especially like the second one!

While you're browsing their postcards, you should also check out A la Carte Maps itself. They provide city maps in the form of beautiful hand-drawn artwork, "combining guidebook, tourist map and a piece of art in one". They even have an option of creating your own personalized maps (using cute stickers!). The only problem is that there's not that many cities to choose from - although it does look like new ones are on their way!

On the subject of travelling, I have 2 more days before I go home to Indonesia - yay! I'm hoping to take plenty of pictures with my little point-and-shoot, and depending how well they turn out, will share with you guys (would you be interested in that?). Anyway, I also have a bunch of blog posts already scheduled, so the blog will certainly not be deserted while I'm away.

O goodness how cute! When I was in Florence I had a similar illustrated map which popped up and had a built in compass. It was freaking awesome.

Hope you've sorted all your packing!
