greetings from the garden

As promised and as requested, here are some photos from home.

I get to wear pretty house dresses almost every day. I don't usually wear it with a belt when I'm at home, but the belt (vintage, via my mum, by the way) does make it look cuter, and could probably make it work as a day dress, no?

Playing with the wooden wind chimes. That duck (right) is on the top of the chimes (left), and when I pull the handle I'm holding, the duck's neck bobs up and down. So funny - you don't have to be a kid to be amused!

There's some food hanging around. Mangoes on the left, "ketupat" on the right. We had the ketupats yesterday for the Eid celebrations (click on the link if you're curious to learn a bit more about it).

I took a lot more photos, but I didn't want to bombard you with too much in one post. Perhaps I will save it until next time.

xx

P.S. I hope you don't hate me for being slow on commenting back lately!

P.P.S. Happy Eid to those who are celebrating ^_^

After reading the Wikipedia entry for ketupats, I conclude that ketupats are awesome.

And I love that little duck chime! I'd be amusing myself with it way too much, haha.

Of course it could definitely work as a day dress! Those woven containers remind me of the containers they serve rice in in Laos.
