diy: quick cardigan clips
After watching too much Glee (hah, as if you can watch too much Glee), and admiring everything Emma Pillsbury wears, I've come to the ever so important realisation that I, too, need some cute sweater/cardigan clips. So I take out a couple of clip on earrings which I thrifted many moons ago, and with a bit of chain, I made this cardigan clip within a matter of minutes! The orange clips remind me of M&M's, so I refer to them as my M&M cardigan clips.
You could buy some plain clips from a craft shop and attach it to a couple of pretty buttons or pendants instead, for something more interesting. There's some other tutorials out there too. Bring back the cardigan clips, I say! Emma would be proud.

Yay! I'l try that too...
Awww.... That's such a cute thing to wear with cardigans.

Now I just need to make little crochet doily's to go underneath for a DIY version of this cardigan.

Also, I was too busy this past week to get over to tell you how much I loved your comment about the Jezebel post. Glad that's behind us and glad to have found you. :)
Absolutely love these. That colour...sigh.
What a clever idea!! My friends at school recently made me watch Glee with them and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I love emma!
You clever little lady you! I've wanted a sweater guard for ages, but can never find the right one or they are outrageously expensive. I love this project. I might even try it with a string of plastic pearls instead of chain.
Anna, you creative little gal you! Your DIY cardigan clips are absolutely adorable :)
Just this past Wednesday I found two vintage cardigan clips for $1.99 apiece while I was out thrifting. Now after viewing your post, I'm eager to make a few :)
How clever are you?! I love the look! They do look just like orange m&ms!
