After days of postponing, I
finally got the chance to see the
Tim Burton Exhibition at ACMI! I went a couple of days ago, and it was worth waiting in the long queue (which always seems to be there!). It was as fascinating, dark, inspiring, crazy, and creative as I expected it to be. No photography was allowed inside, so these were just a few of the decor outside. If you're in Melbourne, I would certainly recommend checking out the exhibition at least once before it ends in October.
love the combination of pink and blue. That's really a great outfit. Oh don't we all love Tim Burton? He's a genius.

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Your outfit is adorable, love the color combination!
ReplyDeleteI was able to see the Tim Burton exhibit in NYC, I wish I had be able to see it a few more times though before it ended. There was so much fantastic work on display!
It sounds like an amazing exhibition. Too bad that I'm not in Australia...
ReplyDeleteI think you look smashing with that pink dress matched with those blue tights. Quirky and pretty, pretty, pretty at the same time :)
I was always a huge Tim Burton fan, but recently... not so much. I still admire him as a filmmaker. He is still a huge inspiration, but my love for him isn't as intense as it used to be... oh sad. When I was in London 2007, I went to the Tim Burton seminar and I waited in line for 9 hours to get the ticket. He was such a nice guy, everyone was captivated by him. Oh I miss those days. Looks like you had fun and I love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteooooohhhhhhhhh Your so lucky! I have been wanting to go so bad!
ReplyDeleteOh my, it looks like such a fun exhibit! I'm a new subscriber to your blog, I really love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress and the collar! I think I'm going to see this exhibition once school goes back, with my art class. Looking forward to it :).
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I'm glad you got to go to this, Anna. I just saw a little blurb today about it on the Frankie blog.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is very Burton exhibition appropriate :)

ReplyDeleteThe lace detail on the neckline of your pink dress is like the icing on top of a delicious cake :)
ReplyDeleteI never knew about a Tim Burton exhibition. He's been making such iconic films with a definite look and style for so long now that he truly deserves the exhibit.
