surrender to the strawberries
camera: Olympus OM-10, film: Kodak Ultramax 400.
I got my latest roll of film developed, and just picked them up today. Can't say I was thrilled seeing only less than half of the 24 exp roll resulted in some decent photos *sigh*, but I guess it's still better than nothing (ugh, can't wait to stock up on loads of cheap 36 exp film when I go to Indonesia!). I've also come to the realisation that I like taking photos of food, and I'm glad that these 3 came out alright. I took each one on a different day, but obviously I have a thing for strawberries and strawberry flavoured treats.
From top: a bowl of strawberries; a macaron from Lindt; a delicious "Wimbledon" strawberries & cream cake (chose it for the name alone!), also from Lindt.
33 little notes:
I love strawberries. So those pictures are mouthwatering to me. It's a shame some of your film didn't turn out. But these ones are just lovely.
Oh my, that strawberry and cream cake looks delicious

Oh that is always very sad when photos don't turn out. The ones that did are quite lovely anyway, strawberries are such a summer treat.
Good enough to eat!

Beautiful photos! They all look delicious. And I had no idea that Lindt makes macarons! I wonder if that means we'll be seeing them in the States soon. That would be exciting.

So sorry half your roll didn't come out the way you wanted. That happened to me quite a bit when I first started taking photos. Sometimes when I look back on those photos I didn't like at first, I actually like them now. ;)
Oh, you certainly have a knack for photographing food with film. I love how soft these turned out making the delicious treats seem almost dreamlike :)
