much love monday [people watching]

I love: people watching
On the tram, I noticed a guy who was sketching another passenger. It was a girl sitting almost on the opposite side who was always looking out the window, so I don't think she noticed him. I'm not sure which one I envied more. The guy who had amazing concentration and was so engrossed in his creativity that he never looked up to notice at least 4 or 5 other passengers (including myself) coming in and out of the tram, who kept glancing at him and admiring his work. Or the girl who looked so striking that she caught someone's attention, so much so that he wanted to draw her, even though she herself never seemed to notice. Either way, it made my tram ride more enjoyable than usual. People watching can be so interesting, don't you think? #randomthoughts

What a great story! I love to people watch too. Especially when my husband and I go out to dinner. I ALWAYS sit with my back to the wall to I can watch what's going on!

Oh, I love the image that conjures. It's so happy-making! I would love to people-watch like that, but whenever I try to it seems like I'm not very discrete; Everyone always seems to know I'm watching because they always end up looking at me!

My dad was always a people watcher when we (myself, mum and sister) went shopping. We could return to the designated meeting spot and he'd just be sitting there watching the world go by. I never really appreciated it until I was older, but it definitely makes time go by on public transport (and I suppose that's why Dad did it when the rest of the female family were shopping!).

Yay Anna! I entered! I did quite a few love heart drawings over the weekend so I thought I could submit them - Is it OK if they are linked to my shop? Hope that's OK - let me know if not - no problems with me! P.S. I love people watching too!!!

People watching is nice, but taking pictures, drawing people without asking their permission is wrong. You have no right to use people like that without even asking them if they are ok with it! I am tired of people treating others as if they are mere robots to do what they want.

Great story, love it :) You could see something wonderful like that everywhere, but most of the people just have their eyes closed. Watching people is fun! :D

that's so lovely, what flattery - if that girl knew I wonder how she would react? I love people watching - you just can't beat a good coffee and a people watch - I used to do it a lot when I lived in France, but alas far less now! x

That is so lovely! I love people watching too, a local cafe in the town i live in has an upstairs seating area with a massive window so that you can see all the people walking by, i could sit there for hours imagining what their lives are like and creating little stories!

Great description, Anna! I love people watching, too. I haven't seen anything as neat as this lately, but that's not to say the little bits I've seen haven't been interesting. I wonder if the guy presented the girl with the drawing or kept it for himself as a memory. Isn't it fun to imagine the ''what next'' stage after we people-watch?

almost wished you knew the ending to the story. i wonder if she noticed or whether he walked up to her?
