More film photos from Jogja. I desperately want to go back already - even if it means another visit to the dentist, which is where these photos were taken. It's in one of those really old houses with high ceilings, tall windows, huge doors, and basically a whole lot of light coming in - which is just what my camera loves. Indoor shots rarely turn out much good, but this was a nice exception. It sure helped that I took these after my appointment, so the waiting room didn't feel so cold and scary any more!
I've always loved it when dentist and doctors' offices are set up in old homes. They're always much more charming than run-of-the-mill office buildings. Not to mention, they're oftentimes decorated better, too.
The white walls and the bright sunlight pouring in gives this a less daunting feel than most waiting rooms can boast!
I really love the dentist room! and well your explanation is agreed much! love the old buildings, and high ceilings, tall windows, huge doors, really reminds me about historical buildings! hope you go back to Indonesia as well soon :)
Makes me want to search for a dentist just so I can not be entirely terrified by the stone cold brick interiors of the one's I frequent. These seemed actually...lovely.
Hope you're having a fantastic start to September.

this makes going to the dentist look beautiful and dreamlike. I went the other day and it was horrible. they scraped away at my teeth and told me i have to get one of my wisdom teeth pulled out. eeeek. glad you had a wonderful trip.
