Can you believe that 2010 is coming to an end already? Me neither! A new year is fast approaching, time for new resolutions (whether you'll end up keeping them or not!), a fresh new start, and of course a fun new calendar. The always inspiring Sarah Von from the blog
Yes and Yes has come up with this brilliant
2011 'A Year in Yes' calendar, containing
"12 months of fun ideas, lists, non-nauseating quotes and great photos". Each month has a fun list to fill in, and there's also a 'Things I Loved This Month' space - so you can keep a mini-diary of all the good things that will happen throughout the year (2011 will have many Much Love Mondays, I just know it!). It's locally printed on recycled paper, and will look fabulous on your wall.

Looks lovely! Mine's April. It's properly spring here, it's my birthday month, we have easter and i can't stop singing "drip, drip, drop little April showers" from Bambi :)

ReplyDeleteAny month with an r in it, cosmthey say they are the best months to go yabbying. It was one of the things I loved doing as a child and now the dams are full in the country again I want to go give it a try again with the kids.

ReplyDeleteso hard to choose just one month - i love something about every season, hot sun, cold winds, spring flowers - they all make you feel good inside but i think (and maybe this is because its coming up fast!) it has to be december... the excitement of my two girls at christmas time, especially if it snows! just can't be beaten... magical :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorutie month is November. That is because it is my birthday in this month and the autumn is in it fullest. It's so pretty outside then with the colours on the trees and such. Also we get the first snow then and the sunsets are so pretty. And the moon. That's why I like it :)
I love love LOVE the month of October - the colors, the smells, pumpkins and apples, Halloween, and rustling leaves! It's SUCH a beautiful month (as long as the cold stays off!)!

These calendars are pretty much the greatest idea, ever. My favorite month is November. Cold weather, orange foods, the start of hot chocolate season, Home Alone on TV - I love it all!

ReplyDeleteIn Cali, where we can't see the weather changes, we Californians have to pretend that it's fall, summer, spring and winter.
December is my favorite month, not because of the snow or the absolute serenity of the scene. No, I never had a snow day, and I never tasted a snowflake.
December is my favorite month because I have come to associate this time of the year with happiness and... Christmas music. The whole month, they are playing Christmas music, and it brings a smile to my face. You can't help but sing along! I associate this time of the year with shopping. I associate this time of the year with family, and how we have to wait until everyone is around the Christmas tree to open the presents. The kids are anxious (aka me) but we all take turns opening presents so we all appreciate the gift of the moment.
I associate this time of the year with freedom from school, and hanging out with friends. No worries, no essays. Pure Bliss.
December is about many things.
It never fails me.
