much love monday [silhouettes and double exposures]

C: compact 35mm point and shoot. Film: Kodak Colorplus 200.

Loving: More experiments with double exposures on film, and playing around with silhouettes too. Need to work out how to frame the shots better.

I've been staring at that last one for soooo long, trying to figure out the sequence of the layers ... *but how is the building in the mug* ... haha

Awesome photos, as per usual!

Loving those silhouette photos. What a great idea. Trying to work with double exposure (by not rewinding or even putting an already exposed film into the camera) but never got such great results (the first one tends to get overexposed, the second version results in random pictures, so no control there). So your a really big inspiration!

Love to see more pictures. Such great work.

I have heard that the best way is to take some kind of white paint marker and make an x where you start so you can try to start on the same point every time. It's not sure to work, but it wouldn't hurt to try!

ps: the fund raising via twitter is now on hold, but the charity garage sale will still be coming soon. we're thinking about the recovery phase... it takes a lot of pennies.

I learned how to take double exposures on photography class once, I forgot how to take one now anyway. T_T

I'm so relieved that Merapi's situation has calmed down. Hope your family is okay.
