A handful of photos from the Indonesian festival in Melbourne in October. Spent a beautifully sunny weekend being surrounded by vibrant costumes, familiar sounds, friendly faces, and (most importantly!) comfort food that takes me back to my childhood. Comfort is the word.
thanks that u enjoy it.. make me even more proud to be Indonesian ^_^. come visit our country and u'll find more treasures from our culture. Teehee. I bet 2 girls in the last pict would be The Saman Dancers. a traditional dancing from Aceh Province.

ReplyDeleteI love the atmosphere as it reflects from the photos. Especially from the 3rd one. Beautiful photos!
Comfort is most definitely the word. I don't know if I'd ever be able to live anywhere other than South Africa.
