Sorry for being away from the blog these past few days! I've been busy spending time with my parents who came to stay over for a week, and I got a chance to see the tennis with my dad... SO. MUCH. FUN. I'm such a tennis fan, and no other shades of blue makes me as happy as the ones all over the Australian Open venue! Nothing beats the drama and excitement it represents. I brought along my film camera, so these are a few shots from the days I went.
Anyone catching the Men's final later tonight? I'm super excited that my 2 favourite guys, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, are finally meeting in a grand slam final for the first time ever. If it's going to be anything like last night's Women's final (awesome!), I'm expecting a tight battle. As much I like Murray and want to see him and Great Britain get a long-awaited grand slam trophy, I do like Djokovic more, so you know who I prefer to win!
10 little notes:
You are soooooooooo lucky! I love tennis too.
And being a brit I ahve to go for Andy - but I think Novak will win : )
how fun!! id love to attend this with my dad, too. love the pics also :)
This looks so cool! I think I'll probably tune in for a bit, but am not fussed on either of the players.
Lucky you! I love tennis too and, of course, I love Rafael Nadal, he's so young and already so strong, a legend!
Best regards from Spain!

Wow, that's a lot of people. My sister was big into tennis when we were teens, so, naturally, as her little sis I was obligated to play it with her. She was smitten with Andre Agassi (of course, that was when he had hair like a hair band guy) :D
Did you also see Kim Clijsters, she's from my country and she's doing well again!
sigh I miss the sun!! I worked at a tennis tournament one summer! loved it.

Glad you're having such a good time:)
I've never been in stadium like that. But then again I'm not much of a sports person. Except for women's volleyball when Japan's playing.
I'm always for Sweden or Japan, hardly ever my own country. No Dutch sportslover ever gets that:P
you are great! and thanks again for being in touch. Great space.
hey, you know Martina Navratilova? :) thats so funny, you have something in common w/ Czech Republic? :) I am from there :)
