Lately I've been loving the returning trend of long and maxi skirts and dresses. Now if only I hadn't donated all my maxi skirts when I cleaned my closet years ago! Meh, should've known I'd miss it once it's gone. So when I found this orange dress on sale last summer, it was a must have. It was the perfect floaty long summer dress, and now I need to figure out how to layer it so I can keep wearing it during the cold months.

Gorgeous dress, Anna! I'm loving the color and hemline. Just think of the cardigans you can layer over it for Autumn :)
Tall boots would also help it transition to cooler weather.

well, I'm currently wearing a maxi skirt and I couldn't agree more. that dress is such a wonderful color, and this length is really gorgeous in a sort of off-kilter way.

Oh goodness tell me about it! I got rid of tones of my maxi skirts early last year too as well as heaps of my perma pleated skirts. Only to find them everywhere at ridiculous prices :( This orange dress is fantastic. Love the KoolAid orange colour.
i like the look of long dresses/skirts, but am always afraid i'll get caught somewhere, drag them through mud or step on them. i'm not usually very careful with my clothes.
