It's been a while since I wrote about
The Slow Readers Book Club (see
Diana's post for a better explanation), but we're back and we have a new book on our reading list:
The Cry of the Go-Away Bird
by Andrea Eames. Bloggers may be aware that Andrea is *the* awesome Andrea from
a cat of impossible colour, and I for one have been wanting to read her book even before it was finished! I just ordered it this weekend, and can't wait for it to arrive.
You can purchase the book
here
.
Anyone is welcomed to join the Slow Readers Book Club. We have a new
facebook page (we moved away from our old forum), a
twitter account, and you can also sign up to our
newsletter (which is handy if you're not a facebooker or twitterer!).
4 little notes:
Looks like an interesting book : )
I just added this to my "Books to read" list! My list is getting a little too big now, but this sounds like a must read!

I have the longest line of books in front of this one. Hopefully somewhere in the next decade I'll get to it. Goodreads is taking over my life, seriously.
I have been out of the loop with The Slow Readers Club but this book really interests me as 6 of my cousins grew up in different countries in Africa while there parents where teachers. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Hope you are having a great start to your week!
Much Love,
Crystal
