frocktober update: day 5 - 9

It's only been a little over a week of Frocktober, and I've already reached the halfway mark towards my $500 goal! I have been floored by people's kindness and ideas! Thank you so much!!! You know who you are. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I am so glad I decided to take part in this event.

Frocktober aims to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation to support research for an early detection.

Some stats on Ovarian cancer (from the OCRF website):
- Ovarian cancer is the seventh most common cause of cancer death in Australian women
- Ovarian cancer is the most common cause of death from a gynaecological cancer
- The five year survival rate for Australian women with ovarian cancer is only about 40%. In comparison, the five year survival rate for breast cancer is about 88%.
