polly woodside

Camera: wide lens SuperHeadz. Film: Redscale XR 50-200

I finally used my 3rd, and last, redscale film. I don't know if 3rd time's a charm, or it was a good choice to take this roll to a different (and slightly more pricey) photo lab, but I'm much happier with the photos from this set compared the ones before - which usually had more misses than hits.

These photos are of the Polly Woodside at South Wharf, Melbourne. Stunning old thing. Extra dramatic in red, huh?

  1. Dramatic was exactly the word I was thinking of before I read your text. These are extremely beautiful, Anna. I love the angle you took the first photo at and in the second, I am mesmerized* by the reflections and ripples in the water (in the lower right corner).

*I feel like I always tell you that your photos mesmerize me. It's true! They do!

  2. I love it, I am tempted to get back to analogue photography after seeing your pictures. It's such a shame that they are so pricey to develop.

What is the film that you have used?

  3. ohhh, I like them!! I find the softer the light the better the redscale looks...

I'm still not 100% sold on the normal redscale, I love the XR though.
