I wish to be, like Amelie
Gorgeous Amelie-inspired photographs by Cecilia Austin.
Has anyone seen Micmacs, the new French flick from the director of Amelie? I had a chance to see it a couple of days ago, and it's SO good! I don't know how to describe it, but it's kind of like Amelie meets Oceans Eleven.
The winner of the Karma Cards giveaway is #43 = Amy. Congratulations Amy! I'll email you shortly to get your details. Have fun with your Karma Cards :)
A big thanks to everyone who entered! There were some truly inspiring answers, which would be wonderful to see really happen. Spread those cards and make someone's day! Just like Amelie would do.
Oh Oh Oh! Amelie! Those photos are just great. You know, what I really love is that so many different people like Amelie. Its brings people together, i think she would like that.
ReplyDeleteThose photos are gorgeous, I love Amélie. Actually, I love all Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films (I don't know if it's because I'm French...). I have not seen "Micmacs" yet, but I highly recommend you to see his first film "Delicatessen", which is so great! And of course, "A very long engagement", if you haven't seen it already. I love the atmosphere of his films, I always have such a good time watching them :)
ReplyDeleteAmelie must be one of my favourite films ever! I was going to go see Micmacs, but I didn't want to be disappointed - the review of it I read wasn't too great, but now I'll have to check it out.
