tea and swings

Went to dinner with a close group of friends last night, then went to this cafe afterwards. It's one of my favourite little hidden places in Melbourne (Easy Cafe on Bourke St). They have nice bubble tea, but best of all: they have swing seats! Much fun was had as we dangled our feet, rocking back and forth, sipping sweet tea, flicking through a Frankie magazine found there, playing Uno (we love this game, haha!), talking, laughing, and basically enjoying the company of old familiar friends. I left feeling very very happy.

P.S. The winner of the Little Monarch giveaway is #6 = Veronika. Congratulations! I'll email you shortly to get your details. To everyone else, don't forget you can still enter the Karma Cards giveaway.

P.P.S. Lately I've been wanting to post more of my own photos/images on the blog, as opposed to posting those done by others. What do you think? Do you prefer personal photos, or the inspiring photos/editorials I find by other people? I would still like to have a balance between both, and maybe this is just a phase, but I've been thinking of posting more of my own stuff. I know my own photography isn't always great, but that just gives me more reason to keep trying.

Ps. I had to look up 'bubble tea'. I've never heard of it, but it sounds delicious.

Swing seats! That's awesome.

I'd love to see you post more of your own photos because they are always so lovely. That said, you do find the most amazing stuff. So definitely a bit of both I say.

I go through these phases to. Although every time I want my blog to go into a more of my own content driven direction, I never have anything interesting to post haha.

Using our own is always the best. Better use your own image, but you can also use others. Just balance though.

Those swing seats are so neat! Such a genius idea. I wish I can visit it.

I would love to see more personal photos. There's a flood of inspiration that floats around, but it's always nice to see creativity that is from the blogger themselves. :) Your photo skills are beautiful, I'm sure all your readers would appreciate them!

That place looks amazing! I want to swing while drinking bubble tea! :)

Your pictures are always lovely. I enjoy pictures taken by bloggers more than editorials done by others (though there's nothing wrong with sharing amazing inspirational things!) - it's always fun to peek into other people's lives with their photos.

What a gorgeous cafe!! I adore those drinks with the big straws - they have nice round things in them don't they?

I LOVE Bubble tea, too! You're so fortunate that you have a place out there serving that delicious drink in such a pretty setting!

You take wonderful photos so a lot of us would like to see those. It also feels like we get to share your journey, too.

I love discovering new photographers through your blog. You always find the most beautiful editorials to share. What I love ever more, however, are collections of your own photos. The tones in the ones you've shared here are lovely. I feel as if I could be sitting in this cafe myself. Side note: those swing chairs look incredible :)

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed such a fun evening, Anna!
