Sorry for the lack of posting during the weekend, but I'm back now and what better way to start off a brand new week than with a much love monday post!
I love:
♥ gluing heart buttons on my shoes
♥ meeting new friends
♥ opshop (thrift shop) sales
I just got back from Savers, which are having a 50% off storewide sale today, and yes - I got some pretty good stuff! I might post about my finds during this week. The sale isn't just for us in Australia. I found out that the US stores are having a 50% sale on Monday too. So there you go, something to love on a Monday! Is Savers in any other countries? Would be interesting to know.

How to join in Much Love Monday:
1. Do a blog post that includes a picture of a heart and mention something you love.

Love love love this tea bag design. The little tshirt and hanger shape is just so clever and cute! I need to find out where I can buy them.

Found here.

I've been looking for the perfect floral skirt for a long time, and I think I just found it. I recently purchased this sweet vintage skirt from Beta Boutique, who -by the way- are still having a massive 25% off storewide sale right now. I love it so much! Despite it being autumn and close to winter over here, I'm already getting plenty of wear out of this with the help of some warm layering. I've never been one who reserves floral wear for only spring time anyway!

Don't forget to enter my "big thanks" giveaway, if you haven't already. There are 6 unique prizes for 6 winners, so hopefully there's something to please everyone :) . Thank you so much for the wonderful response so far. As for the winner of the Gilded Bee giveaway, it is #102: Natalia. Congratulations! I'll be emailing you shortly.

So I mentioned before that I wanted to do a giveaway once I hit 1000 followers, as my way to thank you readers. Well, here it is! I had a hard time deciding what *one* thing to give away, so I thought I'd give away a range of items to multiple winners instead. Therefore, I can spread the prizes around and there's a better chance than usual for entrants to win. I think there's a little something in here for everyone:

1. One of my latest vintage finds which I bought specifically with this giveaway in mind (but was very tempted to keep for myself!). How adorable is the print on this scarf? Get a better look at it here. It measures 51 cm x 51 cm, or 20" x 20".

2. For the second item, here's a sweet leaf charm necklace with 2 turquoise flower beads. Made with love by me, of course.

3. Love sending mail? Then maybe these 6 Much Love postcards are for you. You'll get 3 each of the Much Love in a Teacup and Much Love Under My Umbrella cards.

4. I also wanted to give away a couple of my favourite photo prints: the Paper Crane and the Heart of Buttons. Both are 5" x 7" sized prints.

5. Free ad space on the Much Love blog (under "Sponsor Love" on the sidebar) for 2 months. Great for Etsy shops or just any website or blog looking to get some extra traffic.
6. A custom made banner for your online shop or blog. You can either choose one of the premade banners in my Much Love Designs shop, or we can work together and I'll create whatever look and size you want!

Now please please please read ♥ The Rules
To enter, you MUST:
follow this blog (after all, that's the whole point of this giveaway!) You can be a follower via Google connect or other services (e.g. Bloglovin' ).
choose which prize you would like the most. You can choose upto TWO prizes only.
♥ leave a comment telling me what your choices are (no need for multiple comments).
♥ include your email in the comment.

Open to everyone worldwide, of course. Ends on Monday 31 May at 11pm GMT. Each winner will be randomly drawn, then contacted via email. Good luck!

Oh, and one more thing. As another way of thanking you, all Much Love followers can get 10% off anything in the Much Love shop and in Dahliaville until May 31st. Just mention "I follow much love", and I'll send you the Paypal refund.

I love: sweet treats that look like hearts. Well... maybe more like bunnies, but close enough.

Camera: wide lens SuperHeadz. Film: Fujifilm Fujicolor Superia 200.

Some shadow shots I took with my Superheadz toy camera a while back, but which I just recently got developed. These photos were taken on the same morning as this outfit post. I love long morning shadows. You get to pretend that you're reaaally tall, or that you're walking on stilts. I like that my wide lens camera seems to exaggerate them even more.

See other people's wonderful shadow shots at the inspiring Hey Harriet blog.

P.S. Make sure you check out the Beta Boutique vintage shop, for a MASSIVE 25% off sale!

Okay so this is yet another self-promo blog post (sorry!), but I couldn't wait to share this with you. You know that 3rd Etsy shop I mentioned before? Well here it is. Come and see Dahliaville. It's a collaboration between me and my brother. He does all the drawings (the most important stuff!), while I do the digital colouring and manage the shop. It's inspired by retro pin up girls and the style of old Archie comic books. For a limited time and no additional cost, you can request us to customize some of them. We can change most of the colours (prefer blondes to brunettes, maybe?), and also change the letter on the cheerleader's top.

It's still in it's early stages, and there are still lots more illustrations in the works that I'll add in within the next few days. So do come and have a look. Any feedback is much appreciated, and maybe "heart" us if you really do like what you see. I almost forgot how exciting it is to start a brand new shop and see the page views and favourites slowly climb up one at a time. I'll probably be jumping for joy when we actually make a sale (*EDIT* .. and we just did! yay!).

These photographs by Maggie Lochtenberg are so crazy beautiful! I love the deliberate use of double exposures with all the amazing shapes and colours. The word "dreamy" is one that I sometimes overuse, but that's really the best way to describe these. Dreamy dreamy dreamy.

I've added these polaroid prints to the Much Love Etsy shop.

Speaking of Etsy shops, I've decided to open a 2nd one: Much Love Designs. At the moment, it has premade banners (which can be used for either Etsy shops or blogs), but perhaps there will be more graphic design related stuff in the future. As if that's not enough, a THIRD Etsy shop is well on it's way too. I won't give you the details about that one yet, but all I can say is it's a collaboration and I'm very excited about it! I'm still not sure if having all these shops all of a sudden is the best idea, but what better way to find out than to actually do it, right? At least if I find out it's a mistake, I'll get to learn from it.

Meet the Gilded Bee: a lovely etsy shop, filled to the brim with the most adorable paper goods. I have some of their envelopes, tags, and butterflies, and they're the perfect little things to brighten up a package, or just any paper craft project you can think of! For this giveaway, the Gilded Bee has kindly put together a wonderful kit that one of you can win. It includes:
♥ 12 asst. butterflies
♥ 12 tags
♥ 12 pillowboxes (2 each of the styles in the photo)
♥ A bunch of roses+leaves and forget-me-nots
♥ and a roll of citrine ruffled crepe trim

To enter this giveway, simply leave a comment with your email.
You get an extra entry if you tweet or blog about this giveaway (please leave an extra comment if you do this).

Open to everyone worldwide, and ends on Tuesday 25 May at 11pm GMT. The winner will be randomly drawn, then contacted via email. Good luck!

camera: Olympus OM-10, film: Kodak Ultramax 400.

It's been a while, but I've finally got a couple of new films developed. One roll was from my wide-lens Superheadz camera, and another from my Olympus. I've been having trouble getting good shots from the Olympus camera lately (probably to do with it being old and temperamental by now), but here are a few that I quite like as a set. I like experimenting with the low-light indoor conditions, right by the windows.

I love: the feeling of getting healthy again after 3 days of being sick! Oh the things you appreciate when you don't have a blocked nose.

P.S. I have a similar photo print of that L-O-V-E garland in my Etsy shop *shameless promotion*

Screenshots from a sweet pre-wedding video which I found via Sunflares Plethora yesterday. There's so many lovely elements in it (vintage props and adorable outfits!), I just had to share. It has also convinced me that I'd like a man who can make me paper windmills, love vintage cameras, and willing to play on swings with me, please. Surely that's not asking too much. You can watch the full video here, by WeddingClip.
