Seeing these pictures makes me want to go out and spend the whole day thrifting, just so I could decorate my place with all kinds of vintage knick knacks too. Also, I love the sign in the first photo that says "I am not rubbish". Sounds like the perfect personal encouragement, as well as a good thrifting slogan!
What a gorgeous room, I love the eclectic clutter and all the rich colors. It makes me want to go thrifting too! Then again, I usually want to go thrifting anyway ;)
I can never get enough of flea market finds and style, just so lovely, it seems to evoke a feeling of being of loved ... shiny, new things really don't have that worn-in/beloved look, at all.
that room is stunning!! it looks so quirky and charming. i love the idea of decorating with all the little finds at the thrift store! thanks for sharing!! xoxo tod @ http://bibliochicshop.blogspot.com/
I always go to thrift stores and pick up pretty things worth taking photos of and decorating with. But as soon as I come home I kick myself for not being the wannabe minimalist I am. I think I just need to embrace this.
these photos are lovely! I haven't been thrifting in ages. these photos definitely make me want to get back into it. I agree that the message on the poster is great - I might add that it also makes for a fantastic entry title!
