balloons and cake ["made this myself" Week]

Sorry for the really late post today! I've been having trouble with the internet, but it should be okay now. Today's "made this myself" is a digital creation of the above hot air balloons, which I did in Photoshop. The patterns are either things that I've scanned myself or files which I've had in my computer for a while. The clouds and border were made with Photoshop brushes.

Another thing I made today isn't anything crafty, but I did make this 5 minute chocolate cake for the first time! I don't remember where I found it, but if you google 5 minute chocolate mug cake then you'll find plenty of sites that give the recipe. It cooks in the microwave, which is great for me because my place doesn't have an oven (oh how I miss baking!). I used a bowl instead of a mug, which explains the flat shape, and it's surprisingly pretty good! I can see myself making this again and again, especially when I need my chocolate fix (which happens pretty often.. oh dear).

Thank you to those of you who have been submitting your links already! I love seeing other people's creativity :) I'm keeping the "made this myself" week going on through the weekend, so you still have time to share your creations until then.

I've made that five minute cake a few times now and it's actually quite dangerous 'cause it's so easy and I make it every time I get a little chocolate deprived (:
