My friend Jennifer hosted a sweet "knitting + tea party" yesterday. The table was completely filled with her adorable teapots (seriously, how cute are they??) and delicious treats from everyone. I brought those Viennese biscuits in the first photo. Wish I could say I made them myself, but I let my local bakery do the hard work for me ;) Oh yes, there was some knitting involved too. Somewhere. I just started knitting my first scarf, but I guess I was too caught up in the tea and food that I forgot to take a good photo of it! Oh well, those teapots are a much prettier sight, trust me.

I love this! A knitting + tea party sounds like the best thing ever. Your friend's teapots are adorable. Someday when I have more space for such things, I'd like to start my own collection.

I tried knitting a scarf once. I asked my mother to finish it. Haha. I'd to try it again, though.

So dainty! I've knitted a zillion scarves, but I don't know how to do anything else. :( I think my goal needs to be to learn to make anything other than a scarf--literally, ANYTHING! Tea snacks are so adorable, aren't they? Especially cucumber sandwiches. :)
