plates for hooks

upcycled plate hooks by postroadvintage

A clever way of recycling vintage plates: turn them into charming wall hooks! That's exactly what etsy seller, postroadvintage, has done and I love this idea so much. Decorative, yet completely functional at the same time. They remind me a little of these. Obviously I have a thing for pretty vintage plates on walls.

They look so delicate I would be scared of just dropping them or putting to much weight on the hooks. I'm really clumsy...still its a pretty cool idea

I love this! Although I'm afraid it might be too girly for hubby's taste. Maybe I can persuade him to let me redecorate the closet ;)

I've never even seen plates that could be used as hooks.... except my cake stand, I suppose, but I use that for cake! ;)

That's a great idea! This way you can collect all these pretty plates and actually use them instead of having them put away.

Delightful. My mother used to hang plates on the wall, but never like this! I'm so inspired now :)
