much love monday [YK]

It was hard getting a good shot of that photo, especially with all the traffic around - but I just had to include a photo of that mural for a Much Love Monday installment.

I love: YK = Yogyakarta. I love this city. I love that it's a place that has shaped me to become who I am today. I love having amazing family and friends here. I love the memories. I love that people here are big grinners. I love the creativity on every corner. I love being here during Ramadan. I love the vibe. I love the amazing food. I love that everything is ridiculously cheap.

I just got my first roll of film developed during this trip, and I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow (for less than a third of the price I would pay in Australia ...Ridiculously cheap, I tell ya!). Fingers crossed that there'll be plenty of good photos that I can share on the blog this week!

To join in Much Love Monday, simply do a blog post that includes a picture of a heart and mention something you love. Then leave a link of your blog post in the Linky space below, and put it in the thing you love as the tile.
You can also add your Much Love Monday photos to the Much Love Monday Flickr pool.

  8. Such a special post, Anna. It's so nice to sit back and reflect on what we love best about our hometowns. I think your photo came out great. The traffic isn't a hindrance at all, but more like a full embodiment of the place you love.
