i don't know how this happened...
... but I love it!
I took these 2 photos with an old (but never before used) 35mm point and shoot camera. A third way through the film roll, I accidentally dropped the camera and was forced to rewind the film and start over, in hope that rest of the roll could still be salvaged. So these two photos are probably accidental double exposures that happened afterwards. All the other photos came out fine and "normal", but the crazy colours in these two make these my favourite ones out of the bunch. This makes me want to create more double exposure photos... on purpose.
P.S. FYI, in those plastic cups is one of the most delicious and (appropriately) colourful desserts ever!
Camera: compact 35mm point and shoot. Film: Fujifilm Fujicolor Superia 200.
37 little notes:
they look wonderful!
I love accidental double exposures - they always seem to turn out better than ones I had tried to compose!
Did you see someone in the photoswap ran their film through 2 different cameras and got some really interesting double exposures?
I really like these!
Don't you just get a wonderful giddy feeling when you uncover photos like this? These are just magical.
wow those look amazing!
these look really pretty, you couldn't have planned them better! xx
i love these, there is a lot of mystery and magic when it comes to double exposure photography, i have a lot of fun with lomo's holga, but i see great results with the diana mini too. most of all i like the suspence, not know at all whats waiting for you when your photos are developped!
just the other day i was taking pictures with my 35mm, and it wouldn't advance, so it rewinded to the beginning (from the 7th picture) and i'm kind of hoping that my pictures will turn out like this!
I love the last one! Isn't nice when accidents turn the final product into something better :)
They're brilliant; what gorgeous accidents! x
how fun!!! love the colors. this is the fun part when it comes to developing film - you never know what you'll get.
Some of my happiest mistakes when studying photography were double exposures.
These are beautiful!
I accidentally dropped a roll of film a while back and I just took it out the camera and left it. Maybe I'll have to give it a try and see if it still works & maybe I'll get some double exposures :D
Beautiful! What is the dessert?? Post the recipe!
love them
what a wonderful accident! :)
These are beautiful pictures indeed! It's happened to me a lot with my Holga (by Lomo); but none of mine looked as pretty as these.
Have a nice day!
Miki.
Wow! I love the way they turned out! So beautiful and artsy!
I like them too, especially the top one. Are double exposures even possible with digital cameras now??
i love the color gradient! : )
aaah... happy accidents are ever so sweet. :) these are gorgeous, Anna.
Whoa! What a wonderful accident! I especially like how the 1st one came out. I like the way there's blue, yellow, then red. and that it's prominently blue. sorry, I can't really explain well why the colors look so pretty that way.
oooooo....I do too! Pretty!
these are just magical!
Yay for happy accidents! :)
I like them! The look amazing!

Lovely! I love "accidental" effects like that. So charming (:
These are fantastic! Yay for happy accidents :)
i'm a huuuge fan of double exposures, I love these, seems like there was a light leak situation (?) that created the rainbow effect... so awesome
What a super effect!! I love it too!
Oh so this is what you were talking about! Hehe, it looks brilliant yes do do more extra exposures on purpose! Its such a delightful effect! :D
