first batch
So here are some of my first Holga photos. Obviously this new camera and I are still getting to know each other, so there were more misses than there were hits. I experimented with almost everything though: the coloured soft surround filters, the split image filters, the coloured flash, and double exposures (which you know that I love!.. and I love that it's so easy to do on a Holga). I need to learn to slow down on the picture taking though, especially after coming to the realization that with the 120 film, there's less than half the number of exposures that I'm used to, so I pretty much finished my roll within just a couple of days. I'm looking forward to trying out the black and white film next (but will take my time!).
28 little notes:
These are incredible, is that a jacaranda tree in one of them?
I love the flower bag pic :)
Thanks for sharing these. I can't wait to see more!
i love your first picture, the colour is so vintage! what film were you using? and you are going to get better, i know it! :)

you never fail to inspire me x
They look beautiful!! Hello chocolate tea! I want to see more!
Did the frankie-face ones turn out or not (haha)?
Hope you're having a great week. ^__^
Interesting feel to the shots!
Great photos! Lomo is all about hit and miss, but usually even the misses are rather interesting to look at! I love the first one, delightful xx
you can get 35mm kits for the 120 cameras which look really cool. I decided on the 135 because of that reason though lol.
Still very impressed with your first photos Anna, they are lovely :)
these are really stunning Anna x
These are amazing, I look forward to seeing some more.
Oh my goodness! I'm in love with these!
i think i like the first pic best, so simple.
SO pretty! I love the double exposure pics too.

Neat! Experimenting with new cameras is so fun! I've had my holga for several months and have completed 2 rolls of film, but am yet to develop them. I agree with your dilemma of trying to take things slower with holga because the rolls are shorter.
I love the second one! holga is a great camera :)

I love them all!!!
I love your site :)
looks great! ♥
Even though some of them might not have turned out like you had it mind, I think they're lovely. As Bob Ross would say:"there are only happy accidents".
And I totally get that you might get a little carried away with trying, I'd be too! Besides it's lovely to see all your pictures, so keep on taking them;)
Anna! These are incredible. ♥
You're so inspiring. Keep up the great work and happy experimenting :)
They are beautiful! I esspecially love the first!
yay, i've just rekindled my love of film (a couple of disasters kinda dampens the enthusiasm!)...thanks for the inspiration!x
