cloud of balloons

This project looks so cool. The pile of white balloons remind me of big fluffy clouds. Looks like they even light up in specks of pretty colours! I bet it would be wonderful to take in this dreamy sight in person, while sitting by that river as the sun is going down.

Gorgeous Walls {or How to Avoid Painting} (guest post by Emma)

This is a guest post by the always sweet and talented Emma.

I've lived years (and years) in rented housing and I know how drab and beige the walls can be!
On a related note, I hate to paint.

All that to say, I don't tend to paint my walls knowing that, upon moving out, I have to paint them back. So for all you fellow renters (or homeowners who hate to paint too) I thought I'd share my recent discovery - vinyl wall stickers!
They're easy to put up, look lovely and don't ruin the wall when you peel them off. They come in varying designs, colors and prices (although any price is preferable to painting! Aargh!).

There are literally over 800 pages of options on Etsy, but here are some of my favorites to start you off:

There's something almost magical and surreal about underwater photography. I love how gentle and serene these photos look, as if she's falling into a deep sleep. Just looking at these feels relaxing!

books written for girls (guest post by Diana)

This is the very first guest post here on Much Love! I couldn't be happier knowing that it is written by one of my favourite bloggers: Diana of our.city.lights.

You don’t have to get to me very well to know I am avid reader and lover of books. I love holding them in my hands and the leisure of it all and of course, I was hesitant about the Kindle and digital reading. However, as much as I love the printed word, I'm also an advocate for reading, even if it means making it as technological possible for people who normally don't read. There is nothing like reading an actual book, especially when it's a classic. When I saw these classic books embroidered (one of my favorite hobbies) in a form of a purse, I literally held my breath. I love books, purses and embroidery- the combination is too much to handle…

Dreamy pastel colours, cute outfits, bows, florals, pretty wallpaper... there's a lot of things this 2010 Summer lookbook by Juli Santini does right! Plus, it kinda makes me want a pastel pink toy horse now too.
