I went to see Toy Story 3 with some friends last night, and it was so good!!! It also makes me want to seek out all my old childhood toys and reminisce about those happy little times. There were the Barbie dolls that my best friends and I dressed up and bonded over, a My Little Pony that was always around during bath time (yet there was always a stain on it's back that I could never wash off!), the Legos that were always scattered around the house (sorry mum!) and my favourite is an old teddy bear who I've had for as long as I can remember. He looks after my room while I've lived away from home, and I always give him a big squeeze whenever I come back!

So tell me, what was your favourite childhood toy(s), and do you still have it?

Who knew food mess could look so beautiful? It takes some amazing photography skills to do that. I love the composition of everything, and the splashes of vibrant colours against the crisp white background.

Now I'm hungry.

If you like flipping through magazines that are beautiful + inspiring + free + online, you need to check out Unicorn/dream magazine. With the first issue just out, Unicorn/dream is an "online magazine about dreams, life, photography, hand made crafts and a bit of vintage and fashion" - which is pretty much a list of everything I love! I'm really excited to have contributed to this issue as well. I designed a few of their ad pages (e.g. those last 2 images). You can also find a little blurb and pic of me (where you can *gasp* actually see my face) somewhere in the mag if you look carefully!

This weekend, take 50% off any Dahliaville print if you mention the code "weekend50" during checkout. Discount only applies to original prints, without any custom changes. I'll refund the discount amount via Paypal.

For those who prefer larger prints, we do provide them on request. For a 5" x 7" print, we just charge an extra $2 to the original price. The 50% discount does apply to the total price. So basically, if you use the discount code, the usual $8 print would be $4 if it's 4"x6", or $5 if it's 5"x7". Simply convo us, or let us know what you want during checkout.

Meet the blog's latest lovely sponsor, Silent Mint.
Pauline of Silent Mint creates these exquisite statement pieces, handmade from resurrected, vintage or modern components. The ones pictures in this post are from the rope and rover collections. Aren't they gorgeous? I love the simplicity of them, yet there's an intricate element in the details as well. For the rover necklace collection, she is planning to create more pieces with big color contrast in bright and pastel colors for summer.

Pauline also runs a fantastic vintage store on Etsy.

Hello all... I'm back! Although I won't be surprised if you didn't notice I was gone, because Amanda and Laura did such a good job in looking after my blog while I was away. It's good to be back online though, and I'm looking forward to catching up on your blogs today.

shoes and tights - thrifted ; skirt - vintage via Beta Boutique ; rings - handmade and from a friend

So what does a girl do when she has little to no internet for several days? Why, go out thrifting of course. I got these shoes from an op shop over the weekend for $5, and I swear they are the most comfortable heels my feet have ever met!

P.S. I recently did some guest blogging myself, over at the lovely Fleur Avenue.

Oh hello there it's Laura again! Let me today introduce you to this lovely girl Madelene Lindqvist and her lovely blog Le Portillon.

Madelene is based at Stockholm, Sweden, and here are just a few from many many photos of her gorgeous outfits, pretty house and beautiful country. Everything just looks so wonderful, it makes me want to go travel to Sweden even more now!

That's all folks and thanks for having me here. Do say hello at my own blog See Hear Say and if you're into photography please take a peak (or contribute if you're keen!) at my other project How's your weekend?.

Hope to see you soon!

Following Amanda's lovely posts, this is Laura from See Hear Say guest blogging whilst Anna is away. Very happy to be here and saying hello to you all :)

I came across Ladies & Gentlemen Studio's website a few days ago and I thought this would be a perfect to share with you all here as I know how much you and Anna love vintage treasures!

Quoted from their website, Ladies & Gentlemen Studio is all part design studio, part blog and part vintage store. You can find delightful knick-knacks that are their original design such as this chalkboard-coated creature and mega doily rug.

And how about some cute vintage typewriter or patterned teapot and cups? I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Off you go to their online shop for more cool vintage findings!

Have a lovely day!

First of all, a big thanks to Amanda who has been a wonderful guest blogger for me while I've been away from the blog. I have another terrific guest blogger who'll be taking over tomorrow, but I'll be back in full swing by Thursday.

I thought I'd quickly pop in today for another Much Love Monday post though, because it just feels weird to skip it.
So what's the thing I'm currently loving? the fact that Wimbledon starts today! Anyone else? I'm aware that there's not a lot of tennis fans who read this blog, but I know there's at least a couple of you out there (I'm looking at you, Ainslie and Avalonne!). I'm looking forward to the drama, the upsets (unless it's against my favourites), the 5 set thrillers, the tennis tantrums, the dramatic camera shots, the hilarious camera shots, seeing the player's new outfits in the traditional white colour (some are VERY cute, you know), eating strawberries and cream to pretend I'm actually there, and texting my dad while he's watching the same thing at home (I love that he loves tennis too, we get to bond over it).

Hello it's Amanda from Here Comes the Sun again!

Today I wanted to share with you these pictures from Canadian photographer Arden Wray. Some of Arden's work has been featured in our beloved Frankie magazine and you can see why- they fit the effortlessly cool, shabby chic Frankie style perfectly.

Well thanks for having me here guys!

Hello lovelies, it's Amanda from Here Comes the Sun! I'll be guest blogging for Anna today and tomorrow! I am excited to be here and share a few things.

(Grizzly Bear)

I love these pictures so much, they make me want to run away with a camera, a picnic and my husband and spend the day making up stories and playing games like children. It's been too long since we've taken a break from the real world to be adventurous and free.

Anyway I will pop back here tomorrow as well but please come say hello over at my blog too :)

Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus is a 2006 movie starring Nicole Kidman as iconic photographer Diane Arbus, and a fictional take on her early photography inspiration. The movie itself was okay (hard to judge because the DVD I borrowed was scratched, so I had to skip some scenes. Grr...). To be honest - and at the risk of sounding shallow - I was more impressed by the costumes and setting. Images of Nicole looking elegant in those perfect '50s housewife dresses, were too good not to share. The beautiful vintage camera she carries around is like the cherry on top.
