Camera: Holga 120 GCFN, with a 35mm adapter. Film: AGFA 400 ISO

Spotted: people blowing bubbles in the city one day (out of focus, I know), and a branch of a tree (anyone know what it's called?) on my way to work. These are the first Holga photos when I've used a 35mm adapter. Still need to get used to it, but loving that I can simply use 35mm film, yet still make good use of the qualities of my Holga (e.g. the sharp focus - when I can get it right).

(I realize I write in brackets a lot!!)

you know, i haven't figured out how to work my 35mm adapter for my holga -- each time i've tried to use it, the rewind mechanism fails. :(

anyway, your photos have given me hope and i shall try
setting it up again. these shots are beautiful, Anna.

what beautiful photos! I love them. The funny thing is, I took a photo of a similar tree and wondered for ages, what it was. I found out its an London Plane Tree.
I dont usually know anything about trees, but found this out because i did the same thing and photographed it.

These photos are absolutely dreamy! Thanks for the info @victor fox. I've always wanted to know what those trees are called myself! I see a lot of them in Australia, New Zealand and there are some in China. I've heard London Plane Trees help with CO2 and helping pollution.

Love the bubbles - I actually tried to snap some huge bubbles from a bubble sword on my Diana F+ - it's harder than you'd think!

Oh and I love (to write in) brackets (also), it's how I speak too! Love the ol' aside... x

These are great, Anna! I really like how the bubbles' iridescence translated to film.
