diy teal beads

On the weekend, I thought I'd so some crafting and try making myself a necklace. So I got a couple of Fimo clay blocks from Lincraft and whipped up this little thing. I got one block in teal (one of my favourite colours!) and another in cream, and mixed the two to create a few different shades of colours for the beads. Then after baking the clay, I got an old necklace chain, put the beads though, and voila! I LIKE it.

well done! i made some beads using air dry clay and hand painted them before, i'll give it a go with fimo next time. question, did you just use your normal oven to bake it? just want to make sure that there isn't any chemical from the fimo next time you use the oven for baking food!
