black and white, holga

Camera: Holga; Film: Ilford HP5 Plus 400 Black & White

Only a few of the black and white Holga photos that I took at St Kilda beach turned out alright. As I feared, most of them came out terribly blurry, but at least a couple of good ones that I'm happy with sneaked in there.

Oh the joys of film photography, haha! I often have hits and misses but there are usually some gems hidden away in there!

People on stilts are actually quite creepy. But these ones are beautiful. Almost surreal.

The ones that turned out are beautiful though. I had this happen with me with my Holga in NYC over the weekend. They where just to dark but I have some fun double exposure ones that turned out great.

Thanks for sharing!

I love Holgas! Do you process and print your own film? I'd love to get back to Holgas but don't have a darkroom available.

Moody with a capital M! I love when beaches are captured completely opposite to what they're usually associated with :)

Film always has a way of surprising you. I think that second photo is my favourite.

I love the last one, even if it is blurry. I think that adds to the charm :)
