Awe-inspiring photography by Mariell Amélie. The emotions these photos convey... I have no words.

P.S. deep aplogies for my own silence, and how I haven't been replying back to your comments in what feels like ages. Life outside of the blog has taken over - with it being busy, challenging, and a roller coaster of emotions these past couple of months. Do know that I read each and every comment, and appreciate them greatly. I've had rough days when your comments have been the only thing that has made me smile at the end of the day, and I can't thank you enough for being the most awesome blog readers ever. xo
Okay, I'll stop sounding overly dramatic now! (and yes, the days are getting better..)

Love: spending the whole of last Saturday with awesome friends and awesome food. We had a feast of a steamboat (hot pot) lunch, that was so huge and filling that dinner wasn't necessary (although we did go out for a chocolate fondue dessert afterwards! mmm... there's always room for dessert...).

Gee, two quote posts in a row - I'm on a roll! I noticed this one yesterday. I must have read it a dozen times because it feels so relevant to what I've been feeling lately, and it was just what I needed: to be reminded that having to deal with the challenges of change is okay.

P.S. What do you think of these inspiration/quote type of posts? It's not something I usually post, but I find myself being drawn to inspiring words lately, it felt natural to share it more on the blog too.

Every now and then i forget to do this, and become my own worst enemy and harshest critic.
What's the nicest thing you've done for yourself lately?

During an afternoon walk yesterday on my way to meet a friend, I had to stop in my tracks when I saw the hexagonal / honeycomb pattern shadow on the side of the road, coming from Melbourne University's bookshop window. I like how the shadows cover the whole footpath, and you can notice silhouette details of the science-y (whatever they're called?) shapes and such, and even the light flares in the second photo are honeycomb shaped too. First of all, I knew it was an immediate candidate for this week's Shadow Shot Sunday. Second of all, it reminded me of Pugly Pixel's post about Honeycomb patterns (which you can go to to download for free). But apart from the blog references, it got me reminiscing about the University, which I went to years ago, and haven't been back since. It was really quiet and beautiful on a warm autumn weekend, and a lot less intimidating than it seemed when I was there cramming for exams and finishing assignments.

Go to Hey Harriet to see what Shadow Shot Sunday is all about.

This awesome art print by Parada Creations made me laugh, and I just HAD to share it with all you fellow bloggers out there! True for all of us, is it not? ;)
Have a great weekend and keep blogging friends. x

This Monday's 'much loves' is brought to you by the cute little heart cushion my friend Jennifer made(!) for me. How sweet is the 'Much Love Anna' text sewn on the front too?? As you can see, it's also the subject of my latest polaroid photo. This is my wall in front of my home computer desk by the way (pretty plain, I know). The gorgeous art print is by matouenpeluche. Lately I usually have half a dozen post-it notes all over this wall too (purposely not pictured because they're a mess and most have fallen off already!). There was one night last week when I couldn't sleep and spent half an hour just scribbling and sticking random reminders/quotes/thoughts/worries, just to get it all out of my head! Does anyone else do that? Or am I just weird?

Anyway....

Photos from Camberwell market using my Superheadz camera. Excuse the shoes peeking about. I keep forgetting that the wide lens on my camera always means it captures a little bit more than I expect it to.
