I've been spending most evenings of these past couple of weeks in front of the telly watching Wimbledon. Love love love the tennis season! Tennis is the only sport I can actually watch and follow, and it's probably more for the drama and personalities than the actual sport itself. It can be very pretty too, as you can see.

Camera: Holga 120 GCFN, with a 35mm adapter. Film: AGFA 400 ISO

Spotted: people blowing bubbles in the city one day (out of focus, I know), and a branch of a tree (anyone know what it's called?) on my way to work. These are the first Holga photos when I've used a 35mm adapter. Still need to get used to it, but loving that I can simply use 35mm film, yet still make good use of the qualities of my Holga (e.g. the sharp focus - when I can get it right).

Love: reusable fabric stickers by mini mae. I've been admiring the love mae collection for a while, so was kinda excited when I found a pack of the nautical alphabet stickers on sale (at Dorothy & Evelyn in Melbourne) during the weekend! Obviously this was the first thing I thought of spelling out. What else should I write? Any ideas?

I've been listening to the music of Charlotte Gainsbourg (who you may have seen in the quirky movie The Science of Sleep, and the more recent Melancholia) after getting my hands on her CD, IRM.

This song is one of my favourites (warning: it will have you nananana-ing along in no time)

black and white, holga

Only a few of the black and white Holga photos that I took at St Kilda beach turned out alright. As I feared, most of them came out terribly blurry, but at least a couple of good ones that I'm happy with sneaked in there.

leeloo: in berlin by september

The inspiring Angela and Renee-Anne of Leeloo have started a campaign to get to Berlin for the upcoming Etsy conference, Hello Etsy in September. Check out their project page for more information about them and how you can help them reach their goal. They've also set up an eBay page as an online "garage sale" for this campaign. AND... how adorable is this video they made?? See, I told you they're inspiring.

Love love love: my vintage Strawberry Fields cardigan from the awesome Beta Boutique. I've been meaning to do a proper outfit post with this for ages, but I still haven't managed to get around to it yet. So this will have to do for now. The little v-shaped stitches look like love hearts, no?
FYI, Beta has started her own Beta Boutique blog, where she shares valuable tips on finding and treating good vintage clothing, as well as inspirational outfit posts, special offers, sneak peaks and daily happenings of Beta Boutique.
