weekend wishlist

It's probably not the best idea to be lusting over shiny new things when I already spent half the weekend shopping already, but still...
1. My friend Jennifer showed me this Shoegazing notecards set, knowing very well that I would love it considering my tendency to shoot my feet now and again (see top blog banner!).
2. I saw a girl on the tram listening to music with cute babushka earbuds like these. Since then I've been convinced that I also need cute earbuds in my life ears.
3. Is it a camera? Nope. It's a pencil sharpener. Genius.

grey space in st. kilda

It was dark, drizzling, and cold at the beach yesterday... and we kind of loved it. There's a wonderful, almost poetic, calmness in all that grey open space. The weather was also perfect for enjoying the hot chocolate we had on the day!

love: spending this Monday with my big brother who's visiting from Japan for a week! We're going to the city, the beach, eat pizza, take photos, and opshop. It's gonna be so good!
also,.. this. He got me the penguin one. Strangest/ funniest thing to EVER sit in my fridge.

This is how my Superheadz captures the view of my mornings on my way to work, when I get off the tram (taken weeks ago). It's nice when the sun is out, and kind of blasts some warmth on you, especially during the freezing winter mornings. Hasn't really been happening much lately though. Anyway, hooray that it's finally Friday tomorrow! I don't know about you, but this week has been feeling like an unusually long one for me. I swear I thought yesterday (Wednesday) was Friday already. Weird.

can't keep a secret (shop invite)

much love monday

Kind of continuing from the weekend's posts, this was our dessert after our hot pot lunch. Love: rice krispies treats! My friend made this with a bit of butter, marshmallows, and rice krispies/ rice bubbles. Yummy! I did the heart carving, of course - just for Much Love Monday ;) (we played around with the idea of making hearts using the mushroom or meat from our hot pot, but somehow a heart shaped piece of meat didn't sound very appealing!)
